Dead Sea to New 7 Wonders Competition

The Dead Sea will make the list of candidates for the new "Seven Wonders of the World" competition, following the Palestinian submission, added last night to the Israeli and the Jordanian ones. The New7Wonders Foundation, which is behind the New7Wonders campaigns, has the express aim of undertaking documentation and conservation works of monuments worldwide under the motto: "OUR HERITAGE IS OUR FUTURE".
While the nomination and possible selection of the Dead Sea is not directly related to Highlight Films documentary coproduction "Dead Sea Dying", we will obviously deal with tourism, health issues and other aspects of the Dead Sea. In the next few months we will launch and maintain a dedicated web site of the Dead Sea Dying production. If you are interested in getting updates about the production, please use this link to email us.
