Highlight to pitch Dead Sea film at Haifa festival
Highlight's upcoming documentary 'Killing the Dead Sea' will be pitched at the Haifa Film Festival in order to compete for funding in a national competition for 'Green' documentaries. The film will compete against four others for the funding and was chosen from hundreds of submissions from around Israel on various 'Green' topics.Back to Home

Tax breaks for filming in Israel with Highlight
The Israeli government is now granting significant tax breaks to foreign film productions that film their productions in Israel. Sunset in the Judea Desert - a must see!

We updated our High Definition stock footage with extraordinary shots from the Judea Desert:
A beautiful sunset - 4 minutes and a half of the sun falling behind the Judea Mountaines, here played in fast motion.
Camel walks slowly uphill while a large orange ball silhouette his contour - a true beauty!

Protests at Mexican embassies coincide with Highlight's new doc
On August 30 protests took place around the world at Mexican Embassies in regards to the rapant violence and kidnappings that occur there. Highlight is currently in production of a documentary film about a young Israeli woman , Dana Rishpy, who vanished there in March of 2007. Where is Dana? follows the investigation of what happened to her and what her family has done to find her and bring her home. The family participated in the protest at Tel Aviv's Mexican embassy. Watch the video from the protest below:
