Using RC helicopters for low altitude HD aerial filming in Israel

We have launched a unique service for news, documentary and corporate productions: low altitude filming with a stabilized high dentition camera. The Canon 5D mark II camera is installed on an unmanned aerial vehicle, and is completely remote-controlled form the ground. The results, filmed as low as 4 ft. and as high as one kilometer, are spectacular. The operating range of the UAV is 2 kilometers from the ground position. Premiere of Wilfried Israel in Kibbutz Hazorea

The premier screening of "Wilfried Israel - the Savior from Berlin" took place yesterday in Kibbutz Hazorea. The 30 minutes documentary film, directed by Yonatan Nir, tells the almost unknown story of Wilfried Israel, a German Jew who was responsible for saving thousands of Jewish children from Germany in World War II.

The Highlight Films post productuion team has begun the post production work on Yonatan Nir's documentary film "Wilfrid Israel - The Savior from Berlin". The 30 minutes documentary film will premiere in Israel in private screenings later this month.

New year, new productions

We mark the beginning of 2012 with new and exciting projects: this week we have begun the production phase of Jerusalem 3D IMAX, and Arcane-Cosmic production of the first IMAX film to be produced in Israel. Later this month our international production team, led by senior producer Nitzan Almog, will complete a Finnish documentary program, a BBC Wales documentary film, and an American reality program filming in Israel and the West Bank. On the local front, we have begun the production of another series of 30 medical videos for Assuta Hospital, and another series of five public service videos for the welfare of the elderly in Israel. In February we plan to launch three corporate production for International corporations operating in Israel. Our director of Israel productions, Karin Neumann, is in charge of these projects.

Our archive team, led by Itay Mintz, continues to add new high quality videos of Israel to our footage archive. In the last months we have begun using an unmanned aircraft equipped with a stabilized high definition camera. the results are quite amazing, and we continue to film in all parts of Israel, both for our customers and exclusively for the archive. Sky News reported today that a new book focuses on the theory of Hitler escaping Berlin to Argentina at the end of the second World War. Our research team, led by expert researcher Pablo Weschler, has been following evidence, documents and eyewitness reports of this intriguing story for the last five years. On Monday September 19, 2011, we will launch a unique service for news, documentary and corporate productions: low altitude filming with a stabilized high dentition camera. The Canon 5D mark II camera is installed on an unmanned aerial vehicle, and is completely remote-controlled form the ground.  The results, filmed as low as 4 ft. and as high as one kilometer, are spectacular. The operating range of the UAV is 2 kilometers from the ground position. We have begun taking filming orders from our customers, and as of 19/9/2011 the UAV team will be in full operation.

Working with the best production fixer in Israel and Palestine

We continue to provide the best production fixers in Israel and the Palestinian West Bank. Our fixers work with visiting producers producers coming to film in the region. We also provide Palestinian and Jordanian fixers for productions taking place in the Palestinian West Bank, Gaza, Jordan and other locations throughout the Middle East. We have completed our first flash mob video in Israel!

We have completed yeaterday (Aug. 10) the production of our first flash mob, featuring more than 100 participants. We used three cameras, directed by David Elbaz, produced by Itay Mintz, and edited on the Avid Media Composer 5.5.
We can't show the clip yet, but it was a great suuccess.... Now we are planning the next ones.
